It's been a rather crazy week. There is nothing like tripping up a flight of stairs on Monday morning to make the rest of the day go downhill rapidly. Plus it was a great reminder that when one gets older, you don't bounce as well as you once did. Sigh. Two days unable to get around and I was feeling frustrated with my age. Not to mention that Fred the wonder pup was pretty damn unsympathetic with my pain and inability to walk. As well as the lovely stairs at my place. Yes, crazy doesn't begin to describe this week.
I've been trying to cram as much of my free-time with painting as I possibly can. I've been tossing about doing little (4 x 6) mixed media illustrations, as well as watercolor paintings for Christmas. I had thought about having Christmas cards printed like I had last year; but with the showing next month, I had to cash in my coupons to have advertising cards printed. So now the plan is to paint cards. Perhaps more work, but it saves on outgoing money currently. I'm posting a sneak peak here. Progress is slowly but surely going with the Arizona in Italy process. SOOOOOOOO many little pieces to this though. I remain hopeful for a positive outcome. And that's really it for me this week. Lots of updates are being posted in my Instagram feed with my oil paintings. I don't want to jinx it or anything, but I'm in a really great creative space currently. Painting is going well. But for now, I have papers to write and must get going. Do good things this week!
