4.9.17...

I feel like I've been neglectful of my blog and website recently.  Life has a way of becoming incredibly busy when you least expect it.  It's those unexpected things that really manage to mess up my well-intended plans.  Like I had planned to spend time in the studio this weekend - working on both ceramics and paintings.  But....I've been nursing a sick dog since Friday.  Like cleaning messes from rugs and making unexpected trips home to walk him so he won't leave another mess for me to clean up.  I've begun to really realize (like REALLY) how small 500 square feet is.  And how much wall to wall carpeting sucks.  Especially when you have a pet...who is getting older and is prone to messes.  I've cleaned enough poo in the last couple of days to last a lifetime.  BUT...he seems to be on the mend.   Finally.  My carpet may not be the same again, but it was crappy to begin with.  Ha!  No pun intended.  Okay.....very intended.  Must have levity when discussing dog poo.  Ha.  

School is trucking along.  Like we are on the fast downward spiral of the semester.  And I'm starting to freak out a little because after this semester, I'll only have two more to go before I'm walking to grab that BFA diploma.  Plus making some decisions about grad school or not.  University of Texas in Austin while may be my first choice, I don't know if I'll be able to financially swing it.  Cost of living in Austin is way higher than Tucson, and grad school....well, yeah.  There's a lot to think about.
