Ha! That's right. Two posts in one weekend!! I wanted to start the week (or end the weekend) on a much more positive note! And I promise you, this post will be much more upbeat than yesterdays.
So if you follow me on Pinterest... Wait. What do you mean you don't follow me? Why not? I have tons (which...I might just have a wee issue with Pinterest) of interesting pins and stuff that I enjoy looking through and brainstorming. Heck....I even have a ton of great recipes. Okay, okay....my food groups lean heavily toward cookies, alcohol, cupcakes and ice cream. So? What's your point? I really wish I had a few emojis to toss into my posts once in a while! But still... Pinterest is fascinating for those of us who are visually-oriented. A couple of clicks and I have instant reference for paintings, or how to create my own still life, or how to grill chicken, or how to color my hair purple, or what people wore in 1890, or how to fung my shway or.... Get it? There's something for anyone and everyone. You are only limited by finding the words to search for whatever it is you need. My favorite thing to search through, if I had to absolutely narrow it down to one thing, is to look at tiny house plans. Hey a girl can dream! I love looking at the ones on wheels, on water, situated on a cliff or by the sea, in the round or in a narrow plot. Doesn't matter what. They are wonderful! Of course when you limit yourself to 500-800 square feet, then you must have an outbuilding for the art studio! And maybe a screened porch for your faithful friend to lounge in. Or....or....or..... See what I mean? WHY LIMIT YOURSELF? I get goosebumps thinking about it. Hahahaha! Yes, I have an entire board for House Plans. Then another one for ideas for inside the house. Then another one for my dream space of a designated art studio. Then another one for gardening. Yes, I have a ton of ideas saved for that proverbial rainy day. But I've also used Pinterest for school too. Anytime a teacher says to use master's artwork as reference, I hit up Pinterest for ideas. Makes life very easy to do visual research for class. Plus the whole idea to save something for later - I can't tell you the number of times I've gone back to something I pinned. Think of it this way.... Pinterest is one part Google Search Engine; one part 4-drawer filing cabinet; one part Encyclopedia Britannica; and one part Library of Congress. It is everything. Still haven't convinced you to check it out? Why? Go on....try it... I feel like I'm totally peer-pressuring you to take your first sip of beer. It's not that icky, I promise. Just click on the picture above, and it will magically open a new window and take you right to my Pinterest page. What have you got to lose? Okay, okay. Enough pressuring. I'm off to search through some more pins.... Hey....that house isn't going to build itself! And neither are the dreams! :)
